Jack Evans is an American professional wrestler who is currently wrestling under the AAA promotion. He was trained by Bruce and Ross Hart (The Hart Brothers), Bryan “Chico” Alvarez, & Tim “Street fighter” Flowers. He made his wrestling debut in September 2000 and since then has wrestled for numerous promotions like the well-known Stampede (in Calgary), Wrestling Society X, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Ring of Honor, and Dragon Gate USA. On March 26th, Jack Evans will be wrestling alongside The Young Bucks against CIMA, Dragin Kid, & Gamma for Dragon Gate USA.

Dragon Gate USA announced that Triple A star Jack Evans would be wrestling along side The Young Bucks against CIMA, Dragon Kid, & Gamma in a six man tag match. This match will be the main event and will take place on March 26^th in Phoenix, Arizona. Ticket’s are still available for “Open the Ultimate Gate”. You can buy tickets at the DGUSA store or call 267-519-9744. Matches for this event will be announced on the official Dragon Gate USA website.

The poster features Brian Kendrick, CIMA, Bryan Danielson, and others. DGUSA will give away a limited edition of the poster for fans who have purchased “Enter the Dragon”, “Untouchable”, and “Freedom Fight” in January. You must send in your cable bill for proof of purchase.

CIMA is a Japanese Pro Wrestler trained by Ultimo Dragon and currently wrestles for Dragon Gate USA. He wrestled briefly under the name of Shiima for the now defunct promotion WCW. He eventually changed his wrestling name and wrestled shortly for Ring of Honor. He’s defeated AJ Styles in his first North American appearance and wrestled Austin Aries under the ROH promotion. Since joinging Dragon Gate in 2004, he has won four different DG titles. On September 6^th, CIMA will face Brian Kendrick in the “Open the Untouchable Gate” event in Chicago.

Brian Kendrick speaks out for the first time since his WWE release

Brian Kendrick spoke in an interview with DGUSA.tv and this was his first time he has opened up since the WWE released him. He said that the he didn’t fit into the plans of the WWE and that he was glad to be out of the corporation:

“I had some fun in WWE,” Kendrick said. “I learned a lot, made some friends. It’s a corporation, I am a human. This human didn’t fit into the corporation’s plans, and that corporation didn’t fit with my human side. I had some laughs, but I am awfully happy the ride is over, and I don’t want back on.”

He added that he wasn’t very happy with the way the WWE handled him:

“There are certainly aspects of the WWE style that I have learned that I will keep, a lot of what they have to offer in terms of an idea of what a wrestling match should be I have come to agree with, but if you expect me to be satisfied with three minutes of wrestling that is structured to not be especially good, written down and every so often designed to humiliate myself to make old men laugh, well then you can suck my dick. I am going to wrestle the style that pleases me.”

Overall, the interview hyped his appearance with Dragon Gate USA and his match against CIMA. He praised CIMA and said he was looking forward to having a match with him:

“I have been a fan of CIMA’s for years and it’s the name that popped in my head when I was offered a match in Chicago so I was delighted when the match against him was purposed,” Kendrick said. “I have seen a lot of his work, I love what he does. He is quick, smart, strong and experienced. I haven’t been excited about an opponent like this in a long time. Wrestling him will be a first for me and it is something I am looking forward too.”
